Back from Iowa, and I went to work last night...gotto work in electronics and was surprised at how fast the night flew by...it was more like playing than working...then again, I haven't had to lift the huge TV's yet, so we'll see how that goes. Then, at 6:20, I went to toys, but, as you can probably guess, I didn't get anything done there, except to bump into this stupid toy that wiggles and plays music. I about had a heart attack when five or six of them went off at once.
Being back in Jefferson rocked...I hadn't realized how much I missed Amber, and we had a lot of ground to cover as I haven't seen her since my high school graduation (two years!) We got to spend part of the "weekend" out at Spring Lake in the camper, making Smores and watching Hitch...rock on. Got chocolate peanut butter cheesecake too and ate at P.F. Chang's in Des Moines...hooray food! Boo, being broke now! Oh well...
Apparently, I wasn't broke enough to buy my DVD/VCR combo today and Pirates of the Caribbean. I love that movie, and it was under ten bucks, so whatever...I get paid next week anyway and hopefully there will be lots of hours on there...Also bought the new Dierks Bentley CD and got copies of two of Kieth Urban's latest albums and...to my great, intense, wonderful joy, Trace Adkins' new CD...hooray for Amber and her country music loving family!
Anyway, I'm going to sleep now...it's good to be home, back in my bed, and I'm looking forward to getting a full night's (day's) sleep...
