Oh holy crap...

So after a topsy turvy time here at training, and me finally feeling like I might actually be on top of things, my world still gets flipped.

My cat is, once again, not doing well. We took him off one of his medicines and now he's back to being the exact same way he was before. He's been to see two more vets, who think it might be asthma, which is quite treatable. They want him to get a sonagram of his lungs (good luck) and that's going to be expensive, most likely. Mom wants to put him down, which I don't want at all, of course. He can get along just fine without the sonagram, but that would tell us what he definitely has: asthma or congestive heart failure. Apparently what triggers the asthma is heat and humidity, which he keeps being exposed to (August in Minnesota, anyone?) and the first time he acted like this we had just given him a bath. I just want my kitty to be healthy, like he was before. It's enough to make a girl cry (again).

Oh well. I'll just try to make it through the next three weeks, and hopefully I'll be fine.

*UPDATE* Frank is doing much better...it's cooled down and most of his symptoms have gone away, so we're pretty sure it's the asthma, which means he gets to keep eating soft cat food with medicine mixed in (he thinks he's died and gone to heaven) and bum around the house for the rest of his life...oh, I wish :-)

Hun... Franks a tough cat he'll be okay. And no putting him down... I'll call your mom and complain if I have to!
