So, I have discovered how excellent being a slacker is.
Let me start at the beginning.
At the end of last year, when I was feeling motivated, I signed up for 16 credits this semester. Not to shabby, not too lazy, but also not trying to kill myself like I did last year. Two of the classes were two credits apiece, so no big deal, right?
I got to campus and bought 27 books. Twenty-seven! That's a lot of books to read in just one semester.
So I did some thinking. I decided that 27 was too many. So I took another look at all my classes and decided that my political science class, while interesting, looked kinda hard and had a lot of very dense reading. So I dropped it and returned $100 worth of books. Nice. Slackage is better already. I also got to return $87 of US History books thanks to the great Roland Guyotte for getting his TA's free books. So my books bill was knocked down from $455.69 to somewhere around $268. Not too shabby.
I signed online the other day to check how much I owed for tuition, yadda yadda yadda this semester and see that it is substantially less than last time I checked and that there is a credit for $820 and change on my billing statement. Scratching my head and hardly believing my luck, I call the business office where I am informed that since I am such a slacker, the school has decided to give me that money instead of paying a professor to not teach me. Rock on.
So after determining that I had a lot of time on my hands since I am a slacker, and now finding that I have a lot of money as well, I decided to make an investment.
Behold.
