Got a few days off (hooray!) and my parents are gone to Fargo to register my little brother for college. He's all grown up now! *sniff* Not really, but oh well.
It's really quiet around here with everybody gone. Two whole days all to myself and I'm already bored. One of the guys from work offered to loan me season one of the Venture Brothers and I turned him down. I'm starting to think I shouldn't have. I could be cleaning right now, but where's the fun in that?
Speaking of fun, I cooked today. All we've been eating around here for three weeks or so is some combination of spaghetti sauce/noodles/sausage/cheese. I'm about to go mad from it all. We had chicken and carrots in the fridge but I went to the grocery store and got alfredo sauce, broccoli, and mushrooms, cooked it all up and threw in some bow tie pasta. Made a HUGE bowl of fruit salad (which Katie and I devoured) and then made it again with some more fruit we had so I will have more for the next few days. Hooray for cooking!
Other than that, work is work. Home is home. School is too far away for my taste. Boo-urns.
