New things!

Hooray for new things! I have received many in the last week, including:

A) New glasses...after five years with the same pair it was time for something different...these weigh about half as much as my old ones, sometimes causing me to panic when they don't feel like they're actually on my face. Oh well, same tinty-ness, which is nice in the sun so that I am not blinded now and don't have vision problems later.

B) New spiffy dress clothes. I got a khaki suit (although we have to see about the pants, they still haven't gotten Mom's approval) which means that the khaki blazer/jacket thing that I've been dying for is now mine! Plus I have a pretty blue shirt to wear underneath it which also looks great with jeans...hooray!

C) New paycheck. $463.55 Enough to pay my credit card bill which, right now, is a bit larger than I like it. Need to lay off the internet shopping; I hate waiting for UPS/USPS/FedEx to get here anyway.

D) Best of all!!! New cellphone. No longer am in chained to the brick of a Nokia, but I have a cute little Audiovox with cameraphone, voice dialing, and all sorts of other spiffy features. Plus lots of minutes and free IN and nights and weekends. Can we say "Hooray! Dana gets to use her phone instead of leaving it at home!"? Anyway, other than the fact that I work the next three days, my week has been stupendous and I hope yours are too! :-)
