What a wonderful world...

The snow is gone! I'm mainly excited because I have to drive home this week and snow is not something I especially enjoy driving in (I know, then what the heck am I doing in Minnesota?) Also, this was not pretty snow, it was ugly snow. There wasn't enough to be pretty. Besides, I'm not quite ready to let go of the warmth just yet.

I went to see Walk the Line with Patrick yesterday and I must admit, it was very good. I was amazed at the younger kids who were there, especially after hearing some teenager in the lobby go "Who the hell is Johnny Cash?" Oh, the ignorance. Now just to see Harry Potter and I'll be set.

Not much is new around here...I'm looking forward to going home for Thanksgiving like you wouldn't believe. Time to spend with friends and family, Christmas decorating (we are having Christmas at my house for the first time in 5 years! How crazy is that?) and lots of practice for the holiday dinner I will be doing next month. A big thanks to Mom for all her advice and supplies.

I feel like I should leave you with something profound, but I don't know exactly what that is. So until I can figure something, enjoy whatever you have left of school before Thanksgiving and eat as much turkey as you can :-)
