Looking back on this week, I've been up and down and all over the place...This seems to have been the longest week of my life. I had two research papers due this week, one on Tuesday and one on Thursday, 3000 and 4000 pages, respectively. I also had a few other minor papers to write this week as well. It's also the week before a band concert, so those weeks are insane as well. Then my parents are coming on Sunday for said concert, so I've been cleaning like a madwoman (at least 5 loads of laundry and at least that many of dishes so far)...
Then my personal life. Patrick and I decided to back off on our relationship on Tuesday, so he's not around as much as he used to be. This is both a good and a bad thing. It has improved our relationship (I miss him instead of wondering when he's going to leave) but the bottom line is that I miss him...and life is much much more boring and much much more productive...and what fun is being productive??? Luckily, no major fights with anyone around me, or I think I may have lost it this week.
On the plus side, I was looking through my syllabi for this semester, and realized that 3 of my 4 finals are take home tests! Score!!! Only my macro final is not a take home, but I think I can live with that...it is also a plus that my last final is on the 12th, and graduation isn't until the 14th, meaning I'll have most of the day Thursday and all of the day Friday to pack, clean, etc. Then Saturday, play for graduation, load up, and get the heck out of Dodge...I'm looking forward to the summer (I would be even more if I knew I get to see Patrick at least once this summer, but no such luck) so I can work only 4 nights a week, go shopping, and work on door decs and the like...anyway, I still have more cleaning to do before tomorrow so I'm out.
